The only thing to toast with this season is this stunning Winter Aperol Spritz!

A classic Aperol Spritz recipe is a big hit every summer, and with a dash of gin, we think it’s even better! If you’re missing your favourite ginny Aperol spritz now the weather is chillier (and can’t wait til next summer to taste it again), then we’ve got a winter twist that’ll tick all your spritzy boxes!

It’s incredibly quick to make, and you’ll love the sweet pineapple fruit addition (this Grapefruit Ginny Aperol Spritz proves just how well fruit juice works!). Add in some seasonal cinnamon, gin (or go for a spiced gin to up the festive flavour ante!), and prosecco, and you’ve got yourself a delicious-tasting winter cocktail.

Winter Aperol Spritz

Winter gin aperol spritz

30ml gin⁠
30ml Aperol or our Gin O’ Clock Spritz
50ml pineapple juice
Sparkling wine, to top up⁠
Orange slice, to garnish
½ cinnamon stick, to garnish ⁠
(You can also add pomegranates and cranberries to garnish to make it extra festive!)

Start by filling your glass with gin, pineapple juice and Aperol. Stir gently to combine. Top up with sparkling wine (or prosecco). Garnish with a wedge of orange and cinnamon stick, then serve.
