When isn’t it Baileys o’clock? Come rain or shine, this classic bar cart staple can do no wrong. Over ice, in ginny hot chocolates or baking… we can’t get enough!
If you’re in the ‘sweet tooth category’, we have to recommend taking a look at the classic Gin Alexander cocktail recipe combining chocolatey goodness with our favourite spirit, gin! And this comforting Baileys and Vanilla Martini is simply game-changing...
This decadent cocktail is essentially a boozy milkshake. It’s got 3 types of booze: gin, amaretto, and Irish liqueur (like Baileys) - so it’ll really get the party started. And the dessert cocktail’s sweet side is equally scrumptious, with vanilla syrup, cream, and a lovely sprinkle of grated nutmeg to give it a flavoursome finish. Mmmm!
So get ready to tuck in and drink your dessert - you so deserve it!
Baileys and Amaretto Martini
20ml gin
20ml amaretto (like Disaronno)
20ml Irish cream liqueur (like Baileys) or we like this Irish Cream alternative
40ml cream
Cocoa powder, to rim the glass
Sprinkle of nutmeg, to garnish
Rim your glass with the cocoa powder. Then, add the ice, cream, Irish cream liqueur, amaretto, gin to a cocktail shaker and shake for 30 seconds. Pour your cocktail and garnish with a sprinkle of grated nutmeg.
