Tropical Gin Punch
Fynoderee Manx Dry Gin Elder Shee Special Edition has a mouth-watering mix of juniper, herb, citrus and floral flavours like grapefruit, elderflower, lemon thyme and rosemary. That unique combination of tongue tantalising tones is a magnificent match for the zesty, juicy, tropical flavours of pineapple juice and lime. The grenadine then adds a rich, sweet tang of pomegranate that is elevated wonderfully by the refreshing, clean soda water.
To serve this punch, we recommend adding the grenade to the bottom of each glass so that you can treat your friends to a fantastical two-tone colour effect when the other cocktail ingredients are poured in. The effect and flavours are sensational!
Ingredients
Serves six:
300ml Fynoderee Manx Dry Gin Elder Shee Special Edition
60ml lime juice
60ml grenadine syrup
360ml pineapple juice
300ml soda water
Tropical fruits and a sprig of mint, to garnish
Method
Add all the ingredients apart from the grenadine and garnishes to a punch bowl or jug with ice and stir well to combine. To serve, add the grenadine to each glass and pour in the rest of the punch. Garnish and enjoy!
This hot punch, inspired by Bob Cratchit’s concoction in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, is sure to keep you warm this festive season.
