When autumn rolls in, we love nothing more than to sip on indulgent, sumptuously flavoured coffees laden with whipped cream, spice and all things nice. How do you make them even better? Add gin, of course!
Enter: our gin-spiked vanilla caramel iced latte! Sitting somewhere between a dessert, coffee and a cocktail this decadent delight is the ultimate comfort tipple.
There’s nothing better to enjoy with your gin pals as those crisp brown leaves begin to fall.
Let’s start with the gin (it’s our favourite place to start!). For us, this cocktail requires something complex and rich, with unique tones that can be combined with vanilla and caramel. Condesa Gin Sahumerio does the trick, and then some.
Craft Gin Club’s October 2023 Gin of the Month, this delicious craft gin is distilled in Mexico and is a symphony of smokey, citrus, herb and floral flavours that never fail to get us salivating.
It is a gin that leans more to the savoury side of the flavour spectrum, so it works really well with the coffee while also acting as the perfect counterbalance to the caramel garnish on this serve.
The vanilla liqueur then adds a delectably mellow framework to this coffee cocktail, that is fragrant and rich and dessert-like. It has us drooling!
Topped with sweet, buttery caramel sauce, whipped cream and a shortbread biscuit (optional) this cocktail certainly does not hold back. It’s like a big ginny, creamy hug!

Gin-Spiked Vanilla Caramel Iced Latte
50ml Condesa Gin Sahumerio
50ml vanilla liqueur
Double shot of espresso
Milk, to top
Whipped cream, to garnish
Caramel sauce, to garnish
Shortbread biscuit, to garnish (optional)
Add the gin, coffee, vanilla liqueur and milk to a glass full of ice. Stir, garnish and enjoy!
