The irresistible Lindt LINDOR Milk Chocolate Truffles that Craft Gin Club sent to members in their February 2023 Gin of the Month box have inspired us to get a little chocolaty with our cocktails - they are just so deliciously sweet and creamy, with that luxuriously melting middle and smooth outer casing.
We have captured some of that luxury in this silky smooth, oh-so-creamy, chocolate and toffee-flavoured take on a classic White Russian. Be warned, one sip of this and you may never want the original version again!
We all know the classic White Russian cocktail recipe. You simply mix vodka, Kaluha and cream. For this fun twist, we have swapped the cream for chocolate cream liqueur and have added an extra indulgent touch of sweetness using toffee sauce (you can find our fantastic gin-spiked toffee sauce recipe here.)
As if that wasn’t enough, we have topped everything off with whipped cream and even more toffee sauce. It’s heaven for those sweet-toothed cocktail connoisseurs out there, especially if enjoyed with a LINDOR Milk Chocolate Truffle or two.
What’s more, the recipe could not be easier. Just like the classic White Russian recipe, you simply have to mix everything in your Rocks glass with ice and away you go. We can’t wait for you to give it a try!
Chocolate & Caramel White Russian
20ml vodka
10ml chocolate cream liqueur (we recommend Mozart Milk Chocolate Liqueur)
25ml Kaluha
10ml toffee sauce (plus extra to garnish)
Whipped cream, to garnish
Add the vodka, liqueur, toffee sauce and Kaluha to a Rocks glass with lots of ice. Stir well. Garnish, serve and enjoy!
