With our July 2022 Gin of the Month hailing from Down Under, we treated members to a yummy KIND BAR in Almond & Coconut or Caramel, Almond & Sea Salt in their Gin of the Month box. With flavours of coconut and sea salt, these beautiful bars are evocative of sunny Australian beaches!
When the Almond & Coconut KIND bar landed on our desks for the all-important-snack-testing (it’s a hard job, we know) we were instantly won over. You can’t beat this flavour combo of crunchy almond and toasted coconut, drizzled with a sweetness of honey, which meant we knew straight away that we had to turn them into a tasty gin cocktail!
Combining coconut cream, amaretto (almond liqueur), creme de cacao blanc (chocolate liqueur) and gin, it’s the perfect treat this summer and a brilliant vegan alternative to after-dinner ice cream - just make sure to shake with plenty of ice to make it nice and chilled!
Coconut Almond Martini
30ml gin
10ml amaretto almond liqueur (our go-to is Disaronno)
15ml crème de cacao chocolate liqueur
35ml coconut cream
Add all the ingredients to a shaker of ice and shake hard for 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass rimmed with chocolate or desiccated coconut.
