Bee's Knees

This classic cocktail is the Bee’s Knees

So to say that summer gin cocktails are a hot topic would be an understatement! From a refreshing frozen cocktail to a fruity summer sip, we’ve got a lot to say about what tipples are top of the pops come summer…

Here’s what five of our experts love to sip in the summer sunshine. Trust us when we say they are easy to make up and totally delicious.

Anything that leaves you with more time in the garden, soaking up the ray with gin pals gets a big YES from us. Let us know which one you end up whipping up (and remember to submit your lovely photos for a chance to win our Sip & Snap! competition). Find out more information about that here…

I love a classic Gin Daisy, made with grenadine and Cointreau.

It reminds me of fun family holidays in the sun!

If the sun’s out, the gin’s out…

There’s nothing more perfect than a tropical Gin-a-colada (or three) when I’m soaking up rays.
— Ash, Marketing Copywriter

Gin-a-Colada

Gin Pina Colada

50ml gin
25ml Gin-A-Colada Cocktail Syrup
75ml pineapple juice
Lime wedge or fresh pineapple, to garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add your liquid ingredients. Shake and strain into a highball glass filled with ice; alternatively, you can add your liquid ingredients straight to the glass and stir to combine – the only difference will be a delightful layer of foam that shaking creates. Garnish and serve.

My favourite sunshine sip is an Orange Frogroni!

It’s the perfect twist on the classic Negroni but frozen for an extra refreshing flavour. It tastes like summer!

The Bee’s Knees is a super refreshing cocktail to sip in the garden this summer.

I’ll be experimenting with different garnishes, like fresh lavender, thyme, lemon verbena and even chilli!
