To celebrate World Elephant Day 2022 (August 12th), Craft Gin Club is giving away a free miniature bottle of Elephant Sloe Gin with every full-sized, 50cl bottle of Elephant Gin bought on the Craft Gin Club online shop!
After all, what better way to celebrate World Elephant Day than with lots of wonderful craft gin from the Elephant Gin distillery (who we are proud to say are members of Craft Gin Club’s Family of Distillers!).
They have raised over €1,000,000 for elephant conservation projects so far - yes, that’s over one million euros to save the elephants!
All by donating 15% of all proceeds to foundations like the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, The Wildlife Spirit and Big Life Foundation to help protect the magnificent African elephant from extinction.
Long-term Craft Gin Clubbers will recognise Elephant Gin from our September 2018 Gin of the Month box - they made a special gin just for Craft Gin Club named Mshale after a real-life African Elephant.
In fact, the team at Elephant Gin have been naming every batch of their gin after African elephants from the beginning.
And that’s not all, fans of wildlife art and gin will also want to take a look at the Elephant Gin Wildlife Warrier Edition II set.
This unique gin gift set includes a limited edition bottle of Elephant London Dry Gin, decorated with a painting of an African elephant by the noted wildlife artist Mark Adlington, along with an exclusive print of that painting, all in a stylish gift box.
This special edition has been brought together to help raise awareness and funds for the Big Life Foundation, whose rangers work tirelessly to protect African elephants from poachers in the Amboseli-Tsavo-Kilimanjaro ecosystem in Kenya.
What does Elephant Gin taste like?
Elephant London Dry Gin has piney notes and inviting herb tones on the nose, along with that rich base of juniper. The palate is sumptuously smooth, with a symphony of spice, fruit and floral notes that last through the long, elegant finish.
Elephant Sloe Gin has Elephant London Dry Gin as a base and then adds the subtly sweet and well-rounded tones of mouthwateringly fruity sloe berries. Elephant Sloe Gin is simply divine and it has a lower sugar content than your average sloe gin - what’s not to love!
How do you drink Elephant Sloe Gin?
The perfect Elephant Sloe Gin serve combines the fruity notes of the gin with bubbly tonic water and a touch of warm, citrusy spice from Orange Bitters. We can’t wait for you to give it a go!
50ml Elephant Sloe Gin
2 drops of Angostura Orange Bitters
Premium tonic water, to top
Fresh orange rind, to garnish
