A cream liqueur is a must-have for the festive season, and this year we’ve chosen one that truly captures the Christmas spirit in our member's December Gin of the Month box (become a member to get yours here!). If you love a ginny Espresso Martini, or creamy dessert-like cocktails now we’re in Christmas mode, you’re not alone. Here at Craft Gin Club, we love a rich, decadent cocktail at this time of year - and this particular cocktail recipe has a nice buzzy caffeine kick to it too!
When we tried this delicious cocktail recipe in the office, we were seriously impressed at how well all of the flavours came together: it’s got a beautifully creamy texture with caramelly, citrusy and nougat flavours from the marula fruit in the coffee liqueur (scroll below to find out more about this unique liqueur). Add in the refreshing orange hit from the Cointreau, with the juniper from the gin, and you’re on to a total winner.
There’s no doubt this smooth, creamy cocktail will go down an absolute storm at your next festive gathering. And the best thing? It’s incredibly quick and easy to make - meaning more time sipping between Christmas games or catch-ups with your friends and family. Ready, set, go!
