The top 10 prettiest gin bottles of all time

We wouldn’t be the Uk’s best craft gin club if we didn’t think taste was key when it comes to choosing the craft gins that go into our boxes each month. However, we believe the story behind the gin and also the bottle and branding also play a huge part in the selection process - if you apply the same logic that 75% of a good plate of food is the presentation to this - then, it kind of makes sense!

May’s Gin of the Month box, contains the stunning St-Germain elderflower liqueur - stunning in both taste and bottle! Designed to commemorate the French elegance of the Art Deco movement and 1920’s Paris, the St-Germain bottle has inspired us to compile a list of our favourite, beautiful gin bottles.

Some of these belong in an art gallery!

St-Germain

Not gin, but, as mentioned, the St-Germain bottle is inspired by the gorgeous art-deco era of the 1920’s and looks great on the bar cart! With the smooth lines and elegant shape of the bottle, it also makes a really pretty, single stem flower vase after use!

Romeo’s Gin

These Romeo’s Gin bottles are quite literally pieces of art! The four designs that went out to our lucky members this month are limited-edition bottle designs, featuring the work of Montreal artists: Montreal street artist Stikki Peaches, Sandra Chevrier, photographer Julie Couture and street artist Ryan Smeeton, artist Eric Santerre.

Gunpowder Gin

We sent Gunpowder to our members in March 2017 and the response we got was amazing! Not just for the liquid but the bottle itself got high praise indeed. The blue, cut glass gives this gin a vintage feel and we absolutely love it!

City of London Six Bells Gin

This was our September 2018 Gin of the Month. Modelled on St Paul’s Cathedral, the City of London Six Bells gin bottle has a distinctive shape and is very statuesque! The yellow glass inspired many of our member’s to up-cycle their empty bottles into lamps!

Daffy’s Gin

We haven’t actually sent out Daffy’s Gin before, however we couldn’t make a list of pretty gin bottles without including this pretty lady! Daffy is the Goddess of Gin and is painted by Robert  McGinnis who used Daffy’s head distiller: Chris Molyneaux’s wife as his model.

Silent Pool

This is another bottle we haven’t worked with, however the gorgeous, botanical inspired print on the bottle, wins it a place on our list! The colour combination is also really eye catching and you can’t miss this bottle on the gin shelf!

Shetland Reel Filska Gin

Back in November 2018, our members were treated to the grapefruit-led gin Shetland Reel and it went down a storm! The pink ombre bottle was also a favourite of our members and we can imagine A LOT of fairy lights have been used to transform this beauty into a ginny lamp!

Tarquin’s Cornish Gin

When we see a Tarquin’s bottle, we are reminded of the smooth, coloured glass that is washed up on the Cornish coast line - which makes this bottle so special! The bottle is always topped off with a melted wax seal, giving the overall silhouette a lovely fluid finish.

Manchester Gin

We love the cut glass of the Manchester Gin bottle and also the bee detail on the wooden lid was a huge hit with our Mancunian members, when we sent out the exclusive Craft Gin Club bottle in April 2018!

Marylebone

The Marylebone Gin bottle has a slight Victorian, apothecary feel to it and our members loved the colour and design of this stunner when we sent it out in July 2017.
