Our May ‘19 Gin of the Month box had a distinctly artistic theme to it - so much so, that we were inspired to come up with some masterpieces of our own! These three cocktails - which all pay homage to great works of art - not only taste exceptional but are all pretty as a picture, we think you’ll agree.

The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli is one of the most famous works of the Italian Renaissance. This cocktail is so divine it might just make you feel like a goddess of love, reborn on the shores of Cyprus!

This dreamy tipple is inspired by the collection of 250 oil paintings of water lilies by French Impressionist Claude Monet. Painted in Giverny, a small village along the Seine, the images immerse the viewer in the beauty of flora, water and light.

This cocktail pays homage to an infamous artwork by Jean-Michel Basquiat. And if you can’t make heads or tails of it … that’s because this painting is of a skull! Brooklyn-born street artist Basquiat was only 20 years old in 1981, when he created this striking neo-expressionist image.
