With Ryan Reynolds recently selling his gin company, Aviation Gin, to the spirits industry giant Diageo for a whopping $610,000,000, we think its time to take a look at which other celebrities have their own spirits. There are certainly are a lot to choose from, so we have gone for five of our favourites.
From Marilyn Manson to Danny De Vito, there are some surprising and some not so surprising celebs on this list. And each one of the spirits mentioned can work so well with our favourite tipple!
George Clooney - Casamigos Tequila
That’s right, this suave Hollywood star, famous for his role in the Ocean’s films and many others, has his own tequila company. Casamigos Tequila is a fun spirit that is rich and warmly flavoured. It’s perfect for using in a Margarita or with gin in our amazing Long Island Iced Tea Recipe.
Danny DeVito - Danny DeVito's Premium Limoncello
We love limoncello here at Craft Gin Club HQ, especially when mixed with gin in our Limoncello Gin Fizz or in this delicious Limoncello Meringue Pie. Mr DeVito’s limoncello is sweet and lemony with a bright yellow colour, as all the best limoncellos are!
Matthew McConaughey - Wild Turkey Longbranch Bourbon
This could be the least surprising entry on this list, you can almost hear the bourbon in every syllable of every word from Matthew McConnaughey. Wild Turkey Longbranch Bourbon is full of caramel, vanilla and black pepper notes that make it perfect for replacing Scotch whisky in these gin and whisky cocktails for a sweeter experience than you get with Scotch.
Channing Tatum - Born and Bred American Craft Vodka
Channing Tatum founded this Idaho-based vodka company with his former assistant. Every batch of this American vodka is hand-made in small batches and filtered through charcoal to make it extra smooth, making it great for martinis, if you run out of gin that is!
Marylin Manson - Mansinthe
The dark, eccentric god of alternative rock has his own absinthe, which he created in partnership with an award-winning Swiss distiller. Imaginatively named Mansinthe, it’s actually apparently amazingly delicious, according to (somewhat surprised) critics and is incredible in cocktails like this gin-infused cocktail, The Walking Dead.
