In pictures: 3 lovely gin-inspired gardens from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show

The world-famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show is a glorious celebration of all things floral that attracts thousands of visitors - including royalty and celebs galore - every year. In 2019, the event featured three fabulous show gardens all sponsored and inspired by gin distilleries. Scroll through the picture galleries of each garden - then decide which one you’d like to sip your G&T in!

The Silent Pool Gin Garden is described as “taking inspiration from plant technologies and the greening of inner city spaces, combined with a passion to create a space that absorbs people’s woes through the senses of scent and sound.”

We love the hanging copper seat, which is a nod to the Silent Pool Gin distillery. How calming would it be to curl up in there and gaze at the water wall and breathe in the perfumed pink roses?

The Roots in Finland Kyrö Garden, sponsored by the Kyrö Distillery Company, featured the national flower, Lily of the Valley, alongside juniper, which, as we all know here at Craft Gin Club, is the richly flavoured vital ingredient in gin.

Designed as an urban garden to nestle in Helsinki’s city centre, we think the meadow flowers and cascading water feature would provide a heavenly little oasis of peace for anyone lucky enough to own this garden!

According to the official RHS Chelsea Flower Show website, the Warner’s Distillery Garden reflects “the pastoral setting of Falls Farm (at) the heart of Warner’s Gin Distillery in rural Northamptonshire.”

There’s also a central central column with elements of copper and water, apparently inspired by 'Curiosity', the Warner's Gin still.  We just think it looks like a splendid place to sit and enjoy a G&T or two with friends!
