If you are looking for the perfect gin and tonic recipe to enjoy in the garden this summer, look no further than this delicious mix of Loveday Glas House Gin, Craft Gin Club’s August 2023 Gin of the Month, and Wildlead Premium Atlas Tonic.
Bright and bubbly, with a gorgeous mix of citrus and savoury tones, it is utterly divine…
Of course, the lead actor in this dreamy summer play is Loveday Glas House Gin.
Created by the amazing team at Loveday Distilling, and inspired by the Cornish gardens, it’s a beautiful and unique mix of juniper, nasturtium, rosemary, lemon and lemon thyme that is delectably herbaceous, citrusy and peppery in perfect balance.
To complement that rich yet elegant gin flavour profile, we have chosen Wildleaf Atlas Tonic.
This fantastic craft tonic is unique because it is made using North African wormwood instead of the traditional quinine. It, therefore, has a smooth, herbaceous taste that is far less bitter than its quinine-based counterparts, making it perfect for those who don’t like classic tonic water.
It’s the ideal partner for Loveday Glas House Gin in this gin and tonic serving suggestion.
The garnish duo of lemon slices and juniper berries then add new layers of fragrant citrus and earthy spice tones that are simply divine. They elevate every sip!
The perfect Loveday gin and tonic recipe:
50ml Loveday Glas House Gin
200ml Wildleaf Atlas Tonic
Lemon and juniper, to garnish
Fill a copa glass with ice (The Ice Co. Super Cubes, of course!). Add your gin, top up with tonic and stir gently to combine. Garnish and enjoy!
