This delicious cocktail recipe has been inspired by our November 2020 Gin of the Month, Pienaar & Son Orient Gin. It’s a vibrant South African gin that’s full of wonderful citrus and spice notes that encapsulate Cape Town, the remarkable city it calls home.
It’s a tasty tipple that was created for our gorgeous November 2020 edition of GINNED! Magazine, which our lucky members can find in their wonderful November 2020 Gin of the Month box. It mixes the beautiful, ginny flavours of Pienaar & Son Orient Gin with the herby notes of dry vermouth. Grenadine then adds a sweet tang that contrasts a savoury touch of salt and the delectably bittersweet, aromatic citrus tones of grapefruit to create a gin drink that’s coloured to match the sunsets of the savanna, where rhinos graze - it’s punchy enough to match that tank-like mammal’s strength too. Yum!
