With Mother's Day just around the corner, our gin expert Clementine has created this gorgeous apple pie gin cocktail, using the wonder March Gin of the Month, Apple and Sage One Gin! And what goes well with apple pie? Ice cream of course!
Mother May I?
35ml gin
20ml apple juice
10ml sugar syrup
Squeeze of lemon juice
Prosecco to top up
A quenelle of vanilla ice cream
Dried lemon slice and sage leaves to garnish
Ice
Add the gin, apple juice, sugar syrup and lemon to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled coupe glass.Top up with prosecco and float a quenelle of vanilla ice cream on the top. Garnish with dried lemon and a few sage leaves, serve immediately with a spoon!
