It's been well documented that Queen Elizabeth II loves gin, but we had no idea how much!
Food and Wine uncovered that the 91-year-old reportedly drinks four cocktails a day! And why not? If we were the Queen of England, we would too.
According to former royal chef, Darren McGrady, her first drink is a gin and Dubonnet, with a slice of lemon and lots of ice which is enjoyed just before lunch. Very posh.
Then, after she's finished eating lunch, sheβll have a piece of chocolate and a glass of wine. We are never ending lunch without a glass of wine and piece of chocolate ever again.
Not long after, the Queen has a dry gin martini (stirred, the correct way), according to her cousin Margaret Rhodes. That makes 3 alcoholic beverages by around 2 o'clock!
Then to finish off the day, a glass of Champagne before going to sleep! What else? Doesn't everyone end their day with some fizz?
This works out at around six units a day, or 42 units a week - a whopping 28 units over the UK recommended amount of no more than 14 units weekly. If this is correct, according to guidelines, she is deemed a binge drinker!
But who knows, maybe three drinks by the afternoon and some bedtime bubbly is the key to success and longevity and happiness?
