From Bondi Beach to the July Gin of the Month box, the Nexba Pepperberry & Lemon Tonic Craft Gin Club members discovered this month has been on quite the journey!
When brothers-in-law Troy and Drew decided to follow their dreams and start a beverage company, they filled their van with their signature sugar-free iced tea and decamped to the only spot that made sense: the iconic Bondi Beach outside of Sydney.
Through those first-hand chats with real iced tea lovers, Troy and Drew were able to build Nexba, the pioneering Aussie company behind the Pepperberry and Lemon Tonic Water that makes up July’s Perfect G&T. Their mission is simple: make amazing drinks – without sugar.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Craft Gin Clubbers have discovered the Nexba range - long-term members will remember their delicious Strawberry & Peach Kefir that went down an absolute storm in our September 2021 Gin of the Month box (and the Craft Gin Club HQ!)
In fact, we love their sugar-free drinks so much that we’ve pulled together three cocktails using a different drink from each of their ranges!

Mango & Chilli Mojito
50ml gin (Nexba use white rum in their version - give both a try!)
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 small red chilli, sliced and de-seeded
Nexba Mango Kombucha
Mint leaves, additional chilli slices, lime wheels and sliced mango to garnish
Mix the gin, kombucha, fresh lime juice and chilli in a shaker and shake well. Pour over ice, garnish and enjoy!

Peachy Keen Summer G&T
2 peaches, sliced
50ml gin
Juice 1 lime
Nexba Sugar-Free Classic Tonic Water or Pepperberry and Lemon Tonic Water
Fresh mint sprigs, to garnish
Fill a copa glass with ice, lime juice and 50ml gin. Add sliced peaches to the glass and gently muddle, then top with Nexba Sugar-Free Tonic Water. Garnish with mint sprigs.

Strawberry & Peach Cocktail Jug
90ml rum
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, cut into quarters
1/2 cup fresh peaches, sliced
500ml Nexba Strawberry & Peach Kefir
Add all of the ingredients to a jug with lots of ice, stir and serve. Enjoy!
