Jazz up your summer cocktails with this fabulous natural syrup

Our fabulous Craft Gin Club July ‘19 Gin of the Month box included a bottle of ¾ oz. Spritz Syrup - a super-versatile handcrafted natural syrup made from grapefruit, orange zest, cranberries, cinchona bark from Peru (no, we’re not sure either) and a hint of vanilla. Yum! Swap out your Aperol and Campari for this little beauty to add a splash of delicious flavour - and colour - to your summer cocktails. And, for the designated driver, the Spritz Syrup also makes a flavoursome mocktail! Just add a splash to sparkling water or, for those with a sweet tooth; lemonade.

Need some inspiration? Here are a few of our favourite ways to use it!

 Negroni Spritz

25ml gin
25ml Spritz Syrup
25ml sweet vermouth
Orange peel, to garnish

Combine gin, syrup and vermouth in a rocks glass with ice. Stir, garnish and serve.

Prosecco Spritz

25ml Spritz Syrup
100ml prosecco
25ml gin (optional)
25ml soda (optional)
Orange slice, to garnish

Pour the ¾ oz. Spritz Syrup in a wine glass with ice. Top up with prosecco, plus gin and/or soda, if using. Stir well and garnish.
