Traditionally made with vodka, we think a craft gin - with all its multi-layered botanicals - makes for an even more delicious, sophisticated treat!

Lemon Drop Martini

50ml gin
30ml lemon juice
25ml simple syrup*
Fine white sugar for the rim of the glass
Lemon wheel to garnish

First, wet the rim of your martini glass with lemon juice and dip it into a saucer of the fine white sugar. Add the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously, until the outside of the shaker is chilled. Strain into the martini glass and garnish with a lemon wheel.

*For a slightly boozier, but richer and more layered cocktail, try swopping out the simple syrup for triple sec (orange liqueur). It’s elegant, citrussy and truly delicious.
