Here's how to host your very own Platinum Jubilee party (with gin!)

English street party

If there’s one thing we Brits are great at, it’s throwing a street party! And seeing as the Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service, it’s time to get planning!

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is around the corner (beginning on the 2nd of June) which means there’ll be gatherings, parties, and (hopefully) ginny fun galore!

Following two years of missing out on socialising with a bigger group of loved ones, we’re so ready.

We’ve got everything you need to help host your own jubilee party, from the perfect BBQ ideas (fingers crossed for sunny weather), to the ultimate ginny punch to put smiles on everyone’s faces. Our Jubilee Party ideas will have you celebrating in style…

Jubilee gins

And not only that, we’ve got some amazing gin offers that’ll help your celebrations along nicely!

To celebrate the Jubilee weekend, we’re giving you gin lovers 15% off some of your favourite craft gins for one week only on the Craft Gin Club online shop starting on Monday 23rd of May!

And don’t you worry - delivery will be in time for the bank holiday (Thursday 2nd June). The discount code you need? Simply enter JUBILEE15.

This gin-tastic offer is open to non-members as well as our members, and there’s a whopping 28 gins in total - so you can top up your collection, simply treat yourself, or take this as your sign to whip up the loveliest ginny punch for your Jubilee celebrations.

Summer gin pimms punch

Our Summer Pimms Punch is ginny perfection!

The best food for a Platinum Jubilee party:

We’re a nation that adores finger food, savoury snacks, and ‘picky bits!’, so we’ve got some delicious recipes that will tick that box and involve a gin twist (naturally) too. We guarantee people will be asking you for these recipes upon tasting!

Planning a Jubilee garden party that involves a BBQ? Feast your eyes on our Sticky Gin & Honey BBQ Chicken Wings. They’re lip-smackingly good.

If you fancy something you can dip, these Pork & Gin Sausages always go down very well too. For more savoury options, click right here.

The best desserts for a Platinum Jubilee party:

A street party or Jubilee party just wouldn’t be complete without a lovely cake to seal the deal.

We know you Craft Gin Clubbers love a bit of gin baking, so consider these gorgeous Jubilee cake recipes a winner!

If you want something that’ll sit beautifully on your street party table, look no further than these Gin and Elderflower fairy cakes.

Each of these cute cakes is packed with floral and fragrant elderflower flavours. Mmmm!

If you’re after more of a showstopper (Mary Berry eat your heart out!) then we’ve also got some seriously beautiful gin cake recipes that’ll make the ultimate Jubilee gin cake.

Our Gin & Lemon Pound Cake with mascarpone and cream cheese icing and strawberries is a firm favourite. (Trust us when we say everyone will want a piece of it!)

And if the heat dials up? Why not beat the heat with these ginny ice lolly recipes. They’re fruity, dangerously easy to make and refreshing!

A great Jubilee party decoration idea:

If you’re on the lookout for something to put some gorgeous summery blooms in, why not turn your craft gin bottles into a beautiful gin bottle vase?

The good news is it doesn’t really take any upcycling and it’s a quick and easy way to showcase your favourite bottles (why not decorate your table with red, blue, and white bottles) to match with your bunting?

And for a rustic feel, you could add lace, ribbon… you get the idea!

All that’s left is to get your bunting and scones at the ready…
