If you’re a fan of the traditional Negroni, with its bittersweet mix of gin, Campari and vermouth, then you are going to love this orange-flavoured, frozen twist!
Yes, we said frozen, meaning that it’s blended with lots of ice like a boozy Slush Puppy and has that same scrumptious texture. The addition of the fresh orange then brightens everything up wonderfully, making it juicy and citrusy in all of the right places.
Which gin is best for this cocktail? We recommend using Shivering Mountain Early Harvest Edition, Craft Gin Club’s March 2022 Gin of the Month. Its beautiful mix of floral and berry flavours, with a subtle touch of spice, not only works great with the complex bitter citrus of the Campari and herbaceousness of the vermouth, but they are a great match for the vibrant fresh orange juice too.
