Disney lovers can now enjoy cocktails in a 'Beauty and the Beast'-themed bar

For those of us who secretly (alright, not so secretly) love nothing more than cuddling up on a dark, rainy night with a beloved Disney movie to transport us to the magical memories of our childhood, exciting news: you can now make believe you are living the life of Belle and company, by visiting The Enchanted Rose, a brand-new ‘Beauty and the Beast’-themed bar and lounge inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Florida.

Even better news: you can drink gin cocktails while you’re there!

The venue is made up of four rooms, each inspired by a different aspect of the Disney movie. For example, in the main bar area, you’ll find a glittering gold chandelier that is reportedly inspired by lead character Belle’s flowing golden ball gown; the Garden Room and Terrace take inspiration from the Enchanted Forest and the story’s castle grounds.

Meanwhile the Library is decorated in a French baroque style to evoke the feeling of being inside the Beast’s castle and features candleholders, clocks and teapots that, with a little magic, just might turn into our favourite characters from the film!

As for the cocktails - particularly, the gin cocktails? Well, the menu provides a good selection of Martinis and classic gin cocktails, such as the Negroni and the French 75, to choose from, but given that here at Craft Gin Club we are all about experimentation and creativity when it comes to cocktails, we’d love to try some of the featured cocktails. These are also each inspired by an event, character or element from ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

We love the sound of the Lavender Fog (Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin, Rothman Crème de Violette, English Breakfast Tea, vanilla, and cream) and the Floral Bitter Beauty, a combination of Hendrick’s Gin, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Campari, Aperol, lemon, and soda.
