Celebrate World Gin Day at our Virtual Summer Cocktail Party!

We are celebrating World Gin Day with a big summer cocktail party this year and everyone is invited!

Whether you’re joining us with a date, a better half, a gin pal or just “me, myself and I”, it’s going to be a fabulous party with lots of gin-credible cocktails. Just like with our virtual G&T tastings, we’ll send you all of the ginny goodies you’ll need to mix cocktails along with us and two special guests through the evening - it’s going to be a fun cocktail masterclass like no other!

“Who are the special guests?” we hear you say. We are very excited to announce that we will be joined by experts from Pallini, makers of one of our favourite limoncellos, and Cointreau, those famed creators of one the finest triple secs available. Both guests will be taking us through a cocktail recipe each and we’ll then be taking you through two special cocktails of our own.

Our Virtual Summer Cocktail Party event has now sold out, you can view our upcoming events using the link below.

What does each Virtual Summer Cocktail Party ticket include?

As well as entry into the event, each ticket includes everything you will need to make each of the four cocktail recipes we will be learning along with a 300ml cocktail shaker AND a tasting card on which you can write down your own notes for each recipe. What’s more, we also send you a recording of the event so that you can revisit each gin-credible moment at your own leisure.

Each Virtual Summer Cocktail Party ticket includes:

  • Explorers Collection Citrus Gins pack: 4 miniature citrus-led craft gins from across the UK. Fragrant, zesty and bursting with flavour, each of these spirits are perfect for sipping in the sun. The gins in the pack are Shetland Reel Filska Gin, Rock Rose Pink Grapefruit Old Tom Gin, Batch Distillery Lime Leaf Gin and Ludlow Triple Citrus and Pomegranate Gin No. 2.

  • Cointreau: that remarkable orange-flavoured tipple delivered in a perfect 50ml portion.

  • Pellini Limoncello: 50ml of this delightful citrus liqueur, which is made in Rome with Amalfi lemons.

  • Campari: 50ml of this rich, citrusy and delectably bitter tipple.

  • Prosecco: 200ml of this crips, clean, bubbly beverage.

  • Soho Juice Co. Blood Orange, Raspberry & Ginger: a 250ml bottle of this fruity, zesty, fiery soft drink.

  • Cosmopoli-gin Cocktail Syrup: 50ml of this bespoke cocktail syrup that’s full of beautiful tart and sweet flavours.

  • Recipe Cards: these 4 recipe cards will be your guides to each cocktail we make.

Have you been able to guess which cocktails we’ll be making from the ingredients above? Guess no more. Through the evening we’ll be making these four mouthwatering cocktails:

White Lady
This is an elegant classic cocktail that pairs gin and Cointreau in the most wonderful way.

Italian 75
A twist on a French 75 using Pallini Limoncello, gin and prosecco. We can’t wait to give it a try!

What else will you need? There are just a couple of things that we recommend preparing ahead of time to be able to enjoy each cocktail to its fullest:

  • Ice: make sure you have lots of ice handy as you will be using lots for each recipe.

  • An orange, a lemon and a lime: each of these will be used for garnishing and juicing.

  • An egg: this addition is optional, but if you want a nice foam top on your White Lady it will be needed.

  • A spoon: some of the recipes may call for some stirring to be done.

  • A jigger or measuring spoons/cups: there will a lot of measuring to be done. If you don’t have the specific equipment, not to worry, an egg cup or tablespoon will do nicely.

  • A sharp knife and a vegetable peeler: these are for zesting and slicing your fruit.

  • 4 glasses: you will ideally have a coupe, a flute, a martini glass and a highball ready for your cocktails. If you don’t have any of the first three, a wine glass will work just as well.
