Imagine sipping an endless supply of gin on board a luxury cruise liner with the wind in your hair and sun on your back!
That dream may well become a reality after cruise and ferry operator P&O has revealed that it's new ship, Iona, will have an on board gin distillery and bar serving over 30 different variants of the spirit.
Due to be launched in May 2020, Iona will have a capacity of 5,200, a four screen boutique cinema, a gastro pub called the Keel and Cow and The Glass House restaurant with a wine list curated by P&O wine expert Olly Smith.
This GIN-trest into the juniper led spirit started with the company's current flagship, Britannia that has a gin bar that serves over 30 different gins and P&O has also commissioned a gin - Anderson's named after co-founder Arthur Anderson.
If the idea of a floating gin distillery floats your boat, holidays on Iona are now on sale here.
