At Craft Gin Club we love St Patrick’s Day and always celebrate as though we are on the Emerald Isle ourselves! To help you join in the fun, we have gathered together some of our favourite St. Patrick’s Day- themed gin cocktail recipes for you to try, one for each leaf of that lucky clover!
Shamrock Juice
50ml gin
25ml white tequila
25ml light rum
25ml vodka
25ml Blue Curacao
fresh orange juice, to top up
Add the all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake. Pour into an ice-filled glass and garnish with cherries.
Irish Shillelagh
50ml Irish whiskey
25ml sloe gin (you can use bought sloe gin but its also really easy to make yourself, this is a great recipe!)
1 tsp white rum
1 tsp peach schnapps
1 tsp sugar syrup
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp gold rum
1 tsp dark rum
Fill a tumbler with ice then fill up the shaker with ice and pour the lemon juice, sugar syrup, peach schnapps, white rum, sloe gin & Irish whiskey into the shaker and shake well. Strain into the tumbler and garnish with lemon peel.
Lucky Green
30ml gin
20ml Midori
15ml simple syrup
15ml lime juice
10ml egg white
4 chunks of muddled cucumber
Mint, to garnish
Apple slice, to garnish
Muddle the cucumber and the gin together, pour into a shaker with the rest of the ingredients (minus the garnishes) and a scoop of ice and shake it hard. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with mint and an apple slice.
Top O’The Morning
25ml gin
15ml Midori
1/2tsp lime juice
Tonic water, to top up
Pour your gin, Midori, lime juice and tonic water over ice in a rocks glass and stir. Garnish with a cherry.
